SO… YOU’VE SURVIVED THE BASICS.

You know your steps, you’re no longer counting out loud (most of the time), and your turns usually end with both dancers still upright. Congratulations - you’re ready for Factory Improver!

This course is perfect if you’ve completed our Factory Beginner course or have equivalent experience and are ready to move beyond “I know the steps” into smooth, connected, and socially useful partner dancing.

It's also suitable for more experienced dancers who's looking for quality checks of their improver skills, a more systematic approach to their development, or wanting to learn/improve bachata from the opposite role (leader/follower).

If you haven't taken our Beginner course, we highly recommend doing so, either before you take the Improver course, or both courses at the same time.

Like all our courses, Factory Improver is built on a structured curriculum designed to guide your progression in a clear and logical way. We break the course into three blocks, each focusing on essential partnerwork, concepts and techniques that build on what you already know from Beginner, so the content generally does not overlap.

If you didn't join the previous or current course block from the start, your're still welcome to join as drop in. No need to signup for drop in classes, just show up and register at the door. There's a discount also on drop in classes if you sign up for Factory membership.

No partner needed as we'll rotate partners in the course.

WHAT DOES IMPROVER MEAN?

This course bridges the gap between the beginner (level 1) and the more intermediate and advanced partnerwork (level 3-4).

You’ll polish your fundamentals, learn all the remaining “big branches of the bachata tree”, and learn top priority concepts and figures that are highly useful in social dancing.

Whether your goal is to dance comfortably with any partner (while spending less time counting in your head), feel more confident leading/following, quality check your skills, or keep growing quickly as a dancer, the Improver course Block 1-3 gives you the tools to take your social dancing to the next level.
